In MOHT’s efforts to accelerate transformation within Singapore’s healthcare system, a number of projects applied digital technologies. One such initiative is iConnect, a lightweight digital platform for transitional and longitudinal care. iConnect seeks to facilitate more efficient and effective information sharing and care continuity across care teams and settings.
MOHT’s efforts were recognised at the recent HIMMS AsiaPac ’19 conference. MOHT’s Chief Operating Officer Lim Cher Wee, who also leads MOHT’s IGH programme, together with Ong Pang Hao and Lakshman Murugappan, presented the iConnect platform. Cher Wee also accepted the HIMSS Future50 award; the award brings together a community of international leaders who have helped deliver results and steer change using information and technology within the public health sector.
