Which MOHT team would be a good fit for your internship?

Select a programme or team that aligns with your interests and goals:

Strives to deliver sustainable acute-to-community care by consolidating care at hospital settings and improving shared care between hospital and community settings.

Enhances primary care (polyclinics and GPs) with cost-effective technology and patient-empowerment to better manage chronic diseases.

Co-creates Healthy Precincts to facilitate localised, conducive environments and impactful collaborations that activate communities for health.

Aspires to improve health outcomes by harnessing AI and data-driven technological innovations.

Leads the development of TRUST, the national analytics platform that securely brings together and enables the use of health-related research and real-world data, supporting health data analytics between the public and private sectors to improve health outcomes.

mindline.sg is a digital mental health platform that empowers and equips individuals with AI-powered therapeutic tools, self-care resources and self-assessments to inform individuals of the appropriate level of support needed.

Oversees the design, coordination, and implementation of the end-to-end development of Healthier SG programmes.

Builds on existing strengths in the areas of communications, media, branding and outreach; as well as collaborations with partners to drive community-based, user-centered research to design solutions.

Corporate IT

Intern with Corporate IT and dive into a world where curiosity interlocks innovation, challenges breed champions, and each project is a chance to push boundaries.

What are the internship streams at MOHT?

The MOHT Internship Programme offers two internship streams.

General Internship

1. All undergraduate and postgraduate students from local universities (e.g. NUS, NTU, Duke-NUS, SUTD, SMU, SIT and SUSS) or Singaporean students in overseas universities.

2. Polytechnic diploma holders or A-level graduates.

3. Candidates from diverse academic backgrounds are welcome to apply, provided they possess relevant skillsets or experiences and are confident in contributing to the work of the MOHT programme teams. (e.g. data analytics, computer science, business, communications, design, public health etc.).

4. The internship job scope assignments would depend on individual skillsets, experience, and interests.

Internship periods of at least 3 months are preferred.

For undergraduates and postgraduates from local universities, Summer and Semester Internship positions will be open for application through the respective university portals in January (Summer Internship), April (Semester Internship) and September (Semester Internship).

For all other applications under the General Internship stream (including ad-hoc internship periods) please email the MOHT Internship Committee at [email protected] and provide the following:
• Personal Details: Name, Institution/Company, Field of Studies/Experience, Local/Overseas applicant, Nationality, Current Grade/Education Level
• Documents: CV, Optional: Cover Letter
• Internship Information: Duration and available period, Full/Part-time availability, Optional: MOHT Programme of interest (Note: You may be shortlisted by any MOHT programme team based on suitability)

You are encouraged to email us your application a minimum of 4 months before your intended internship start date.

Shortlisted applicants will be contacted by the following month for an interview.

MOHT-Asian Medical Students’ Association Singapore (AMSA SG) Internship:

Medical students from the 3 local medical schools (NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Duke-NUS Medical School.)

Summer Internship: May to July with a duration of minimum 5 weeks.

Recruitment is strictly through AMSA SG EXCO. The call for interns by AMSA occurs in November of the preceding year.
